Here’s a little something I cooked up in After Effects the other day and I thought I’d share.
In the zip file you’ll find the 15 second .mov file [720x480 NTSC default] and the AE project file. Be warned it does use a 3rd party plug-in from our friends over at Trapcode, Trapcode Shine, which is a plug-in I try to use as much as possible. Which CAN be a bad thing, but it’s just so handy and adds a whole new dimension to your work.
I’ll be posting a quick tutorial on how to do it here in the next few days/weeks when i get a chance. Deciding on video or just text and picture walk-through, sound off in the comments on what you’d prefer. Also if anyone has a way of doing the Shine effect, without actually using Shine, I’d love to include it, although I highly recommend picking the plug-in up.
